Drug Store finds 2/23/2014 ($16.67 Out of Pocket with $35 back in various ways!)

CVS

I found some great deals on clearance Valentine's Day cards/candy.  I bought it to give to students at school!  I also bought some things for the Easter Bunny.. who will be coming soon!  It is never too early to stock up.. especially on the Reese eggs, which are essentials in our house.  There have been years where you couldn't find these right before Easter!

So today, I spent $16.67 total for everything in the 3 photos combined.  I also got $29 in various rewards to the drug stores in coupons, $4 in balance rewards points and $2 from Checkout 51.  I was able to get some treats for both my classroom and Easter Baskets too! :)

THIS is why I love couponing!  I still have $194.55 to spend on groceries for February, even though we splurged $40 on steaks for a family Valentine's dinner AND I paid $32 for Crazy Bread from a fundraiser!  Definitely no discounts to be found on those, or my Aldi trips, but I've still managed to save 74.8% on groceries this month!
